Julia Miller, originally from Richmond, Virginia, relocated to Sarasota, Florida, in 1981 to embrace the beauty and tranquility of paradise. Throughout much of her career, she worked in the financial industry, holding significant roles at esteemed firms such as Shearson Lehman American Express during the 1980s, running her own bookkeeping firm in the mid-1990s, serving at a boutique independent advisory firm in the late 1990s, and eventually joining Morgan Stanley in 2010. In 2013, she co-founded FireStar Capital Investments Corporation, an independent wealth management and investment practice, with Randi Sanders, at Securities America Financial Corporation, now OSAIC.
In her free time, Julia has recently focused on expanding her travels, both nationally and internationally, while also pursuing hobbies such as kayaking, stained glass artistry, and woodworking. She spends a great deal of her free time with her daughter, son and mother who all reside in Sarasota and loves being a mom to her cat/dog Oliver.
