Randi Sanders grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and has lived in West Virginia, Washington, D.C., Maryland, Philadelphia, and Miami before moving to Venice, Florida full-time in 2011. Randi holds dual Bachelor’s degrees from West Virginia University, a Juris Doctor from American University-Washington College of Law, a Master of Laws in Taxation from Villanova University Law School, and a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from Mississippi University for Women. She began her financial industry career in 1991 with The Vanguard Group of Investment Companies. After Vanguard, Randi was Senior Vice President/Compliance Officer with GMAC Institutional Advisors, LLC, then Chief Compliance Officer for United Capital Asset Management. In 2011, Randi joined Morgan Stanley as a Financial Advisor. In 2013, she co-founded FireStar Capital Investments Corporation, an independent wealth management and investment practice, with Julia Miller, at Securities America Financial Corporation, now OSAIC.
When she’s not following the markets, Randi makes time for family and friends who live in the area. Randi is a Parrot Head, a WVU Mountaineers football fan, a published poet, bird watcher, cat mom, lover of Florida’s native landscape, and an avid supporter of animal and environmental causes.
